| Baptism |
Parents must be registered in St. Jude parish. Parents and godparents must receive instruction in preparation for the sacrament. Contact the parish office at least three weeks in advance to schedule instruction and baptism dates. Sponsors must be Roman Catholic and in good standing in the Church. |
| First Communion |
Parents must be registered in St. Jude parish. Parents are encouraged to participate in the instruction. Instruction begins in Grade 1 thru Grade 2 for First Penance and Holy Communion. Contact the parish for information about the instruction program. |
| Confirmation |
The Diocese, with the concurrence of the Bishop, schedules the rite of confirmation. The Diocese sets the age eligibility and arranges the ceremony date with the parish. Contact the parish for information about the instruction program and the ceremony date. |
| Matrimony |
Couples planning to marry should contact the bride's pastor at least six months in advance to allow time for record submission and instruction. It is also recommended that couples attend the Engaged Encounter prior to finalizing plans for marriage. |
| Sacrament of the Sick |
Visitations to the sick/homebound are made on Sunday by the pastor, deacon or eucharistic ministers. Contact the parish office to provide information about the person requiring visitation. Viaticum for the dying can be given at any time by notifying the rectory. Anointing of the Sick for the seriously ill can be arranged with the pastor. |
